LITTLE POPS NY PIZZERIA
If you thought you couldn’t get good NY style pizza in Chicago, you haven’t heard of Little Pops. They use the freshest ingredients and old family traditions to sling some of the best pizza in Naperville. Crispy yet chewy, saucy, and cheesy; folding up a slice from Little Pops is like giving yourself a giant hug. But what makes their pizza so delicious? Simply put: They care. They want every single person that walks through their door to come away with a belly full of love.
Since opening in 2014, Mike and Vicki have built their family business from the floor up. It’s no surprise that they continue to show how much they care about their customers during the events of 2020, with an exceptionally smooth curbside pick up. The only reason not to go here is if you aren’t looking for NY style pie. And if you are? Head on down to Little Pops and grab a slice of the action.
Insider’s tip: The garlic knots are not to be missed. And if you’re all pizza’d out, then try the penne with vodka sauce.
LITTLE ITALIAN PIZZA
Little Italian Pizza is a cosy pizza parlor with something for everybody. With four crust thicknesses, five different sizes, and 40 fresh ingredients to choose from, you can build your perfect pizza. The thin crust has just the right amount of crunch and the Chicago-style oozes with comforting cheesy goodness.
Little Italian has been running for over 20-years — a humble neighborhood pizzeria committed to making the people of Naperville their favorite pizzas. The old-time Italian decor makes for the perfect setting to chow down on a little Italian food. Close your eyes, take a bite and be transported.
Insider’s tip: Make sure you get some Italian Sausage on that ‘pizza!
UNCLE PETES
If you’re big on pizza, it doesn’t get bigger than this. Uncle Pete’s bold promise is that “our medium is their large”. Crispy, crusty, cheesy, and naughty, Uncle Pete’s truly delivers. Their deep dish pizza could easily feed a small family, but we can’t promise that you’ll want to share. The secret? Fresh ingredients, delivered six days a week. No chemicals, no preservatives, no high-fructose corn syrup. Long story short, no-nonsense.
As one of the oldest Pizzerias around, Uncle Pete’s pizzas are a long-time perfected craft. They got started in 1947 in Chicago and migrated to the ‘burbs of Naperville in 1980, making sure that the population boom was properly catered for with true Chicago-style deep dish. Locals say that Uncle Pete’s is as good as ever — no-frills, but lots of cheesy thrills. Available for delivery and takeaway only.
Insider’s tip: Although Uncle Pete’s offers a variety of crusts and toppings, don’t mess around. Dive straight in with the deep dish.
LOU MALNATI’S PIZZERIA
Lou Malnati’s might be a chain — but they made it big for a reason. They source the best ingredients around; Italian sausage, vine-ripened tomatoes from California, and Cheese from Wisconsin. This outlet is slap bang in the middle of downtown Naperville, inside the rustic setting of the former Naperville Fire House. With a great location and even greater pizza, they’re understandably popular.
Their deep-dish pizza is a flowing Niagara Falls of dairy, packing more cheese than Abba’s entire discography. Lou Malnati’s might be the best Chicago-style pizza in the whole of Chicagoland, and that’s saying something. Their post-a-pizza service actually lets you send a heart-shaped pizza anywhere in the U.S., suggesting they might be more than just the best in Chicago. From smiling servers to the streamlined curb-side pickup, Lou’s is offering an experience you can rely on.
Insider’s tip: Get the butter crust, or regret it!
ROCCO’S PIZZERIA
Rocco’s Pizzeria is a Mom and Pop’s deep-dish takeaway joint. As such, they’re friendly, affordable, and made with real heart. Their Chicago-style pizzas give bigger chains a run for their money.
Be warned, Rocco’s pies are fully-loaded… They’re heavy-handed with their cheese and toppings, in the best way possible. You won’t need extra cheese unless you’re trying to have some very vivid dairy-induced dreams. We’re talking about #CheesePullGoals. The delicious tomato sauce gives just enough sweetness and acidity to cut through the gooeyness of the cheese.
Roccos offer a super-speedy delivery or pick-up, so you’ll get it hot from the pan. If you’re not careful, you’ll be eating it super-speedy too. This pizza always hits the spot — grab a napkin and tuck in.
Insider tip: It’s all about the thin crust.
